Ovation 2024: Going to have hip surgery to shave upcoming after too many marathons and now gained 25kg, and came in 18 months ago to solve digital procurement. Marketing major. Used to visit Atlanta often with the Smyrna UCB Pharma campus near Cobb Parkway.
Ovation 2023: Announced as new Merck CPO during the summer of 2023. Jeff Collier was going to meet him at the Procurement Leaders Ovation conference in Toronto, but he suffered two flight cancellations. He joined from UCB (HQ in Belgium) where he had a long history with Ariba with a beautiful Guided Buying setup and Icertis coming. Sebastien is tech-savvy and hasn't seen Ariba as innovative.
